WR-Games help center
How can we help?
Help here is arranged the way an event actually happens. Pick the phase you’re in, or search everything: setup guides, feature how-tos, billing, and troubleshooting.

Planning an event
Most of the decisions that determine whether anyone turns up are made before the event is published: cadence, seat count, and how findable it is.

Getting people to see it
An event that nobody finds is an event that does not happen. Discovery, announcements and cross-posting all live here.

Getting a real headcount
RSVPs are optimistic. Roll Call exists because of the gap between who said yes and who arrives.

On the night
The in-room features. All of these are used one-handed, standing up, with a game half set up.

After it is over
Logging is the part everyone skips, and the part that makes the next forecast better.

Finding one to go to
The half of the clock that is yours starts before the event does: with whether you can see it at all.
What goes wrong here
Someone sent you an event link and it will not open.
Events in private and hidden groups are members-only. Non-members cannot see them even with the direct URL. You need to join the group first. Privacy, and who can see the event

Phase 02 is host-only. Getting an event seen (announcements, cross-posting, group privacy) is work you never do as an attendee.
If you are here because you cannot see an event someone told you about, that is group privacy.
Your seat
Between the RSVP and the door, two mechanisms decide whether the seat is still yours.
What goes wrong here
You are on the waitlist.
When a seat frees up the whole list is scanned in order and everyone who fits is promoted. A party larger than the opening is skipped rather than split, and keeps its place for the next one. RSVP, waitlist and promotion
Roll Call asked whether you are coming.
It arrives four hours before the event, in-app and by text if you have turned on SMS. Replying is optional (not confirming does not drop you from the list), but confirming and then not showing costs more Trust than staying quiet. How Roll Call works

On the night
Used one-handed, standing up, usually outside a venue you have not been to before.
What goes wrong here
You are outside and cannot find the room.
Every in-person event has a Directions link under the address. In the DC area there is also a Getting there card with the nearest Metro or bus stop, walking time, and live arrivals on the day. Venue and transit
You never checked in.
You do not have to. The host marks who showed up from the event panel, and can check in walk-ins who never RSVPed. How check-in works

Afterwards
What the night leaves behind on your account.
What goes wrong here
You are worried a BG Stats import will duplicate your plays.
It will not. Re-importing the same backup is safe: WR-Games skips plays it has already seen. Bringing in your BG Stats history
Your attendance history looks wrong.
Trust Score compares events you attended against events you confirmed for and missed. Cancelling an RSVP before the event does not count against you. No-shows and reputation
