On The Table is where event attendees share which games they’re bringing and coordinate who plays what. Whether you want to know if your favourite game will be at next Saturday’s meetup, or you’re planning to introduce a new title to the group, On The Table gives everyone a clear picture of the gaming lineup — before, during, and after the event. On The Table is available on all WR-Games plans, including Free.

Two Parts of On The Table

On The Table has two connected layers that work together across the life of an event.

The Bringing List

Attendees add the games they plan to bring to the event. Everyone can see who is bringing what, helping the group avoid duplicates and spot what’s coming.

Tables

For any game on the Bringing List, the person bringing it can open a table — a mini-session with a set number of seats that other attendees can claim.
You must be RSVP’d as Going to add games to the Bringing List or claim a seat at a table. Browsing On The Table is open to all event attendees.

Adding a Game to the Bringing List

Let the group know what you’re packing before you arrive.
1

Open the event page

Navigate to the event from your feed or your upcoming events list and tap the event title to open its detail page.
2

Go to the On The Table tab

Select the On The Table tab. You’ll see any games already added by other attendees.
3

Click "Add a game"

Press Add a game. Search the game catalog — synced with BoardGameGeek — or type a custom title if the game isn’t in the catalog.
4

Optionally create a table

After adding your game, you can immediately open a table for it. Set the player capacity (including yourself as the lead) so others know how many seats are available. You can also skip this step and create the table later.
Check On The Table before you RSVP to see what popular games are already coming to the event. It’s a great way to decide whether a meetup matches your gaming mood.

Claiming a Seat at a Table

When another attendee has opened a table for a game you want to play, claiming your spot is straightforward.
  1. On the On The Table tab, find the game you’re interested in.
  2. Open the table to see the lead, current players, and remaining seats.
  3. Click Claim a seat to join. Your name will appear in the table’s player list.
Tables fill up on a first-come, first-served basis. If a table is full, you can still watch it — you’ll be able to see if a seat opens up before the event.

Table Leads

The attendee who created a table is its lead — typically the person bringing the game. The lead manages the table’s capacity and is the point of contact for other players.
If you’re stepping back from running a game, you can hand off the lead role to another Going attendee. Open your table, select Reassign Lead, and choose the attendee you’d like to take over. The new lead will be notified and will inherit all table management controls.
If a table lead changes their RSVP to Not Going, their table is automatically cancelled and all seated members receive a notification. If you’re leading a table and can no longer attend, reassign the lead before updating your RSVP so the game session can continue without you.

BGStats Integration

For games that have a BoardGameGeek ID, On The Table shows a BGStats deep-link button next to the game title. Tap it to open the game directly in the BGStats app and log your plays without having to search manually.

After the Event: Editing and Historical Records

On The Table doesn’t disappear when an event ends — it becomes a permanent record of what was played.

7-Day Edit Window

Hosts can edit On The Table entries for up to 7 days after the event ends. Use this window to add games that were played spontaneously or correct any details.

Historical Record

Past events keep their On The Table data so the community can look back and see exactly what was played. Browse past events to discover games you might have missed.
