I can't sign in
Start with these steps in order:
- Double-check your email and password. Make sure there are no typos and that Caps Lock is off.
- Use Forgot Password. On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot Password and follow the reset email to create a new password.
- Try your original sign-in method. If you created your account with Google or Apple, use that button instead of entering an email and password. Those accounts don’t have a separate WR-Games password.
I'm not receiving Roll Call notifications
I'm not receiving Roll Call notifications

Check the bell icon in the app to see if you have unread notifications. For email Roll Call, make sure event notifications are enabled in Settings → Notifications, and check your spam or promotions folder. For SMS Roll Call:
- You need a verified phone number in Settings → Account
- The SMS master toggle must be enabled in Settings → Privacy
- The Roll Call SMS category must be turned on
- The event must be hosted by an organizer on a Standard or Pro plan
My BGG sync isn't working
My BGG sync isn't working
A few things to check:
- Username spelling. BGG usernames are case-sensitive. Confirm the exact spelling on your BoardGameGeek profile page.
- Collection visibility. Your BGG collection must be set to public for WR-Games to read it. Check your BGG privacy settings.
- Re-sync. Go to Settings → Integrations, confirm your username, and click Save & Re-Sync to trigger a fresh import.
An event I created isn't showing in search
An event I created isn't showing in search
Only public events appear in WR-Games search results. Check the event’s visibility setting:
- Public: appears in search and browse
- Unlisted: only accessible via direct link; does not appear in search
- Invite-only: only visible to invited members
I can't RSVP to an event
I can't RSVP to an event
There are a few reasons an RSVP might be blocked:
- The event is at capacity. When all spots are filled, new RSVPs go to the waitlist automatically. You’ll be notified if a spot opens.
- The RSVP deadline has passed. Some organizers set a cutoff time. If the deadline has passed, RSVPs are closed.
- The event is invite-only. You need a direct invitation from the organizer to RSVP.
I'm on the waitlist, when will I get in?
I'm on the waitlist, when will I get in?
Your position on the waitlist moves up automatically whenever an existing attendee cancels their RSVP. WR-Games will notify you immediately, in-app and by email, the moment you’re promoted off the waitlist and a spot is confirmed for you.You cannot manually move yourself up the list. Waitlist order is first-come, first-served based on when you RSVP’d.
I can't edit my event
I can't edit my event
If your event hasn’t ended yet, most of it is still editable. What gates it is who you are on the event and which field you’re after.Editing is open to the event organizer and any Co-Hosts. If you’re neither, the edit option won’t appear. For organizers, what you can change depends on where the event is in its life:
In-progress events lock the date and start time. The end time has its own safeguards: Editing an Event That’s Already Started covers those.Once the post-event edit window closes, tables and the bringing list are read-only too, and the event stands as a record of what happened.
