Most problems on WR-Games have a quick fix. Browse the topics below to find your issue — each one walks you through the most likely causes and how to resolve them. If you don’t find your answer here, you can always reach the team directly.
Start with these steps in order:
  1. Double-check your email and password. Make sure there are no typos and that Caps Lock is off.
  2. Use Forgot Password. On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot Password and follow the reset email to create a new password.
  3. Try your original sign-in method. If you created your account with Google or Apple, use that button instead of entering an email and password — those accounts don’t have a separate WR-Games password.
If none of these work, contact support with your account email address.
Roll Call notifications are sent in-app approximately 4 hours before an event starts. Check the bell icon in the app to see if you have unread notifications. For email Roll Call, make sure event notifications are enabled in Settings → Notifications, and check your spam or promotions folder. For SMS Roll Call:
  • You need a verified phone number in Settings → Account
  • The SMS master toggle must be enabled in Settings → Privacy
  • The Roll Call SMS category must be turned on
  • The event must be hosted by an organizer on a Standard or Pro plan
See the Notifications guide for step-by-step setup instructions.
A few things to check:
  • Username spelling. BGG usernames are case-sensitive. Confirm the exact spelling on your BoardGameGeek profile page.
  • Collection visibility. Your BGG collection must be set to public for WR-Games to read it. Check your BGG privacy settings.
  • Re-sync. Go to Settings → Integrations, confirm your username, and click Save & Re-Sync to trigger a fresh import.
If the sync continues to fail after these steps, let us know and include your BGG username in the message.
There are a few reasons an RSVP might be blocked:
  • The event is at capacity. When all spots are filled, new RSVPs go to the waitlist automatically. You’ll be notified if a spot opens.
  • The RSVP deadline has passed. Some organizers set a cutoff time. If the deadline has passed, RSVPs are closed.
  • The event is invite-only. You need a direct invitation from the organizer to RSVP.
If you’re unsure which applies, check the event details page for capacity, deadline, and visibility information.
Your position on the waitlist moves up automatically whenever an existing attendee cancels their RSVP. WR-Games will notify you immediately — in-app and by email — the moment you’re promoted off the waitlist and a spot is confirmed for you.You cannot manually move yourself up the list. Waitlist order is first-come, first-served based on when you RSVP’d.
Event editing is available to the event organizer and any co-hosts assigned to the event. If you’re neither, you won’t see the edit option. If you are the organizer and still can’t edit:
  • Events that have already ended may have limited editing available within a 7-day post-event window (for On The Table content like game logs and scores).
  • Once that window closes, the event record is locked.
Contact the organizer directly if you need a correction made to an event you attended.
Account deletion is permanent. Your profile, any events you created, and your play history will be removed and cannot be recovered.
To delete your account:
  1. Go to Settings → Account
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page
  3. Tap Delete Account and follow the confirmation steps
If you’re having trouble accessing your account to delete it, contact support and we can help.
