Your game collection on WR-Games is the connective tissue between the games you own and the events happening around you. Once your collection is set up — either by syncing from BGG or by adding games manually — WR-Games can match your shelf to the local event schedule and tell you when something you actually want to play is on the table.

Your Collection

After you complete a BGG Sync — or add games manually — your games appear in the Collection tab of your profile. You can browse them by category: the games you own, the ones you want to play, your wishlist, and your favorites.

Owned

Games you have at home and can bring to events.

Want to Play

Games you are keen to try at an event or with others.

Wishlist

Games you want to acquire — useful for birthday and gift hints.

Favorites

Your top-rated or most-loved games, visible on your profile.
Your collection is organised into folders based on your BGG statuses. For the full picture — which statuses become which folders, which appear by default, and how to show or hide them — see BGG & Your Collection.

Sharing Your Collection with a Group

If you are in a group, you can contribute games from your collection to the group’s shared library — and keep them in sync automatically as your own collection changes. See Auto-Contribute to Groups for how linked folders and auto-contribute work.

Browsing the WR-Games Game Catalog

Every game in the WR-Games catalog is verified against BGG data, so you get reliable metadata for each title. From the Games section, you can search the full catalog by title and open any game’s detail page to see:
  • Description — what the game is and how it plays
  • Player count and play time
  • BGG rating — the crowd-sourced score from BoardGameGeek
  • Upcoming events — every scheduled event near you that lists this game on its table
This makes the game catalog a useful discovery tool in its own right: start from a game you love, then follow the upcoming events link to find people playing it near you.
Only verified games matched to BGG data appear in the public game catalog. Custom game titles that an organiser adds to an event are searchable within that event’s page but do not create a new catalog entry.

Favoriting a Game

You can mark any game in the catalog as a favorite by clicking the heart icon on its detail page or on its card in your collection. Favorited games:
  • Appear in a dedicated Favorites folder in your collection
  • Are visible on your public profile (unless you set your collection to private)
  • Trigger event notifications when they appear in an upcoming event near you

Game Notifications

WR-Games watches the event schedule on your behalf. When a game from your collection — Owned, Want to Play, or Favorited — is listed on an upcoming event in your area, you receive a notification. This means you do not need to search manually; the platform surfaces the opportunity and brings it to you. To make the most of notifications, make sure your city is set in your profile settings and your BGG collection is synced with the shelves you care about.
You can also search directly by game title on the Events page to pull up every upcoming event where that game will be played — useful for a quick one-off check without setting up a persistent notification.

Logging Plays from Event Pages

On any event’s On The Table page, each listed game has a BG Stats button. Tapping it opens BG Stats directly with the game pre-selected, so you can log your play without navigating the app manually. This deep link works alongside WR-Games’ native play logging — use whichever workflow fits your habit.
