Cancelling, or letting your plan end without renewing, doesn’t drop you to Free on the spot. Your paid plan keeps working through the period you’ve paid for, and for 30 days after that. Once those 30 days are up, your plan is downgraded to Free and a few things change with it.

The Timeline

1

You cancel in the billing portal

Open Manage subscription on the Subscription tab and cancel from there. Nothing changes on WR-Games yet.
2

Your paid period runs out

Everything on your plan keeps working until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
3

30 more days

Your plan still works the same way.
4

Your plan is downgraded to Free

You’ll see a Plan downgraded to Free notification, and we’ll email you. The changes below happen at the same time.

What Changes When Your Plan Is Downgraded

Every hidden group where you’re an organizer is deleted, including groups other organizers help you run. To keep one, switch it to Private or Public before your plan is downgraded to Free. Group Privacy covers the visibility settings.
Events that have already happened aren’t touched.

Moving to a Lower Paid Plan Is Different

Switching to a lower paid plan, like Pro to Standard, is a plan change, not a cancellation. None of the changes above happen, and groups you already organize keep working. Manage Your Subscription covers what the lower plan limits.

If a Payment Fails

A failed payment starts the same 30-day countdown, counted from the day the payment failed instead of the end of your paid period. You’ll get a Payment failed notification and an email. Update your payment method in the billing portal. Once a payment goes through, the countdown stops and nothing changes.
