# Privacy Settings and Controls on WR-Games

> Control what others see on your public profile, who can message you, and how your play data and group memberships are displayed to others.

WR-Games gives you fine-grained control over what's visible on your public profile and how other members can interact with you. Privacy settings are found in **Settings → Privacy** and apply to your public-facing profile unless otherwise noted.

## Profile Visibility

These settings control which reputation and social signals are shown on your public profile.

<CardGroup cols={2}>
  <Card title="Trust Score" icon="shield-check">
    Show or hide your Trust Score on your public profile. Other players use your Trust Score to gauge reliability when you join new groups or events.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Reputation" icon="star">
    Show or hide your Reputation points (RP) and level badge on your public profile.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Friends List" icon="users">
    Choose whether your friends list is visible to anyone who views your profile, or keep it private.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Activity Streak" icon="flame">
    Show or hide your current activity streak on your public profile.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

<Tip>
  Even with your Trust Score hidden from your public profile, organizers in groups you belong to can still see it when reviewing join requests on **Standard+** groups.

## Play Data

Control what play information is visible to others and how your data contributes to platform analytics.

### Play History

Toggle your **play history** on or off on your public profile. When hidden, other members cannot see which games you've played, when you played them, or at which events.

### Score Data

If you show your play history, you can choose to hide score data within it. Your play records are still stored — only the scores are not displayed publicly.

### Play Data Opt-Out

By default, anonymized play data contributes to platform-wide analytics (for example, trending games in your region). You can opt out of this entirely in **Settings → Privacy**. Opting out does not delete existing data; it stops future contributions.

## Messaging

Control who can send you new direct messages on WR-Games.

| Setting | Who can DM you |
| ---------------------- | -------------------------------- |
| **Open**               | Any WR-Games member              |
| **Group members only** | Only members of groups you share |
| **Nobody** | No new DMs allowed |

Changing your DM access setting to **Nobody** does not close existing conversation threads — you can still read and reply to messages already in your inbox.

## Groups

You can show or hide your group memberships on your public profile. When hidden, other members visiting your profile will not see a list of the groups you belong to.

<Note>
  Privacy settings apply to your public profile page. Event attendee lists and group member directories are governed by each individual group's own settings, which are controlled by group organizers.
